If someone is afflicted by a spirit, then in a lamp, put mustard oil and wrap a wick in a cloth, light the lamp at night after the Isha prayer, and sit the patient facing the flamewith their face towards the Qibla. Write the wick with ablution.
The wick is:Shaddad Baman Qarun, my accursed Iblis, be compassionate and if it flees.
When the affliction comes, burn ajwain, black turmeric, and black pepper,
and recite Surah Nas over these three items seven times while blowing on them and performing the healing. Prepare a coal fire and put these three items on the fire,
let the smoke reach the patient's body and nose, Insha Allah, the affliction will be repelled.

Write this talisman while being in a state of ablution and color a cloth with turmeric water, then sprinkle asafoetida and coriander on it. Wrap the talisman in the cloth that has the asafoetida and coriander sprinkled on it, then place it in the coal fire and give the patient the smoke, Insha Allah, the patient will recover and the evil spirits will be repelled.
